Ugandans congratulate Busoga King for finding love

In a heartwarming twist of fate, the question of when Kyabazinga (king) William Wilberforce Nadiope IV's would melt and throb for a would-be queen of Busoga Kingdom has finally been answered.

According to Busoga Kingdom's prime minister Joseph Muvawala, the Kyabazinga is now betrothed to Her Royal Highness, the Inebantu of Busoga, Mutesi Jovia.

The declaration according to Muvawala follows the "just concluded traditional ceremonies earlier in the day that were successfully held".

The announcement by Muvawala was published in a letter published on Muvawala's X (formerly Twitter) handle on Thursday.

"With now the traditional ceremonies out of the way, arrangements are underway for the Isebantu to present his dear wife to Christ's Cathedral Bugembe on Saturday 18th November 2023 for the celebration of Holy Matrimony and also unveil the inhebantu to the people of Busoga and the world at large," the letter released by the office of the kingdom's prime minister reads in part.

Muvawala congratulated Nadiope on finding a wife and said the move is in line with the Busoga culture.

"This is a true reflection of how cultured our king and the queen are. As a person just like other Basoga adherents of the kingdom, I'm satisfied that Busoga's missing link has finally been found," Muvawala says.

He appealed to the Basoga and the public to keep the king and queen in their prayers for 'God/Allah to bless this new union that Busoga has been longing for'.

following the announcement, several Ugandans took it to social media to congratulate the Kyabazinga for finding love.

The Minister of East African affairs Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga Rebecca commented" Your Royal Highness  the inhebantu , Jovia Mutesi, we welcome you to the Chiefdom of Bugabula  and to the Obwa Kyabazinga   Bwa Busoga, we have  been anxiously waiting for you,".

The Speaker of Parliament Anita Annet Among commented that, "I am delighted to convey hearty Congratulations to the  Isebantu, His Royal Highness William Gabula Nadiope IV upon finding a suitable Inebantu and Mother to the  Kingdom of Busoga, Her Royal Highness Jovia Mutesi".   she added that "I congratulate you our King, and the great people of Busoga upon this development". Among also pledge to continue supporting the Royal family and the Kingdom in pushing the Busoga development agenda.
