President Museveni warns traitors working for foreigners to attack Speaker Among

 

President Yoweri Museveni has sounded a strong warning to Ugandans who are using social media to attack speaker Anita Among and other parliamentarians, saying that they are traitors who are working for foreigners like the LGBTQ and other groups.

Museveni who was speaking at the commissioning of Bukedea Teaching Hospital and Bukedea College of Health Sciences today which was established by the area Woman MP and Speaker of Parliament Ms Anita Annet Among to provide professional health training for medical students, said the ones who are attacking Among are the real problem and not the young Parliamentarians or the Speaker who they are attacking.

“People like Anita Among are not the problem. The real problem we have is the traitors working for foreigners. They are not mistake makers but outright traitors working for wrong foreigners like homosexuals and imperialists. How can you talk so much on social media about Anita Among instead of those traitors? I'm getting intelligence and we're going to expose those traitors,” Museveni said.

This follows a social media exhibit about parliament that implicated the Speaker and other legislators spearheaded by a renown cartoonist Jimmy Spire. However, the President said that he has been hearing people attacking Anita Among and some other MPs who could have made mistakes due to debts, but within NRM, they always see how to help people out of their mistakes.

Nonetheless, he revealed that those traitors who are working for the foreigners are going to be exposed
