Speaker Among rallies Ugandans to register as members of NRM
The Speaker of Parliament Anitah Among has rallied the people of Bukedea, Teso region and Uganda at large to register themselves as National Resistance Movement (NRM) members in the party's ongoing registration exercise.
She made the remarks earlier today after she took time to verify her details in the NRM register at Apopong Primary School in Bukedea.
"I rallied the people of Bukedea and the wider Teso sub-region to register as members of the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party due to the party's longstanding credibility under the leadership of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni," Among stated in an X post.
She further noted that, President Museveni's transformative leadership has steered Uganda towards progress and economic stability over the past four decades and applauded him for his role in positioning Uganda as a regional and global economic powerhouse.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja on Friday March 15, 2024, also went to Kinena B Cell in Kakumiro Town Council in Kakumiro District to have her NRM party membership details in the Yellow Book verified and she was glad that her membership details are accurately laid out in the register.
She took the opportunity to encourage all NRM party members to verify their membership details during the ongoing membership register update exercise that ends on 17th March this year
