OPINION: IF ARTS SUBJECTS ARE USELESS THEN ALSO REDUCE SALARIES FOR ARTS MPS AND OTHER GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS

It's very unfair to continue despising Arts teachers claiming that their subjects are useless and that an Arts teacher can easily be replaced.If so,and the MPs who are supposed to advocate for equality and appropriate funds are passive about the matter,let all of f them who studied Arts have their salaries reduced since Arts subjects are useless!This should also include all government officials like ministers who have an Arts background .

Government should put into consideration how many arts subjects constitute the curriculum and the variety of professions produced by these subjects.If you demoralised an Arts teacher,shall we have quality lawyers, MPs,accountants,judges, administrators,craft designers,economists,etc tomorrow?What's the future of this country?

The level of impunity in this country is unbearable and something should be done about it .When parliament resumes from recess,the ongoing industrial action by arts teachers should be treated with great concern, consideration and reasoning at the floor of parliament.These teachers deserve the best . Actually in some countries,teachers earn more than other professions since they all of them go through their hands.

With this high cost of living,how do you expect a teacher to survive and look after his family,pay bills,service loans,pay taxes and develop himself ,given that little pay?

We need to build and enhance quality education.Pay teachers good money.
