NRM EC release date for CEC nominations

 The NRM Electoral Commission has today announced the release of the expression of interest and nomination roadmap of party members who intend to contest for positions on the Central Executive Committee (CEC). 

‎CEC is the NRM's top organ charged with strategic guidance and decision-making.   

‎According to the Director of Communication at the party Secretariat, Hon. Emmanuel Dombo, the process will commence on 26th June to July 1st with the expression of interest. Nominations will take place from July 2nd to 4th.

H.E. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will headline the roadmap with the picking of the nomination forms for the NRM Chairman and party flag bearer this Saturday, 28th. H.E. Museveni will return forms and get nominated on Friday, July 1st. 

‎Meanwhile, Hon. Dombo also revealed that 14 members had been nominated unopposed, with 10 as flag bearers for Members of Parliament and 4 for district chairpersons.
