Kibaale RDC holds prayers for President Museveni

The Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Kibaale District, Mr. Angalia Godwin on Tuesday organised an Ecumenical prayer for H.E President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni's quick recovery from Covid-19. 

Speaking during the event, Mr. Godwin  requested the people of Kibaale to continue praying for HE the President to recover quickly and come back stronger.

The RDC also encouraged the residents to continue  supporting the NRM for peace and development in the Country.

He also encouraged the locals to embrace government programmes like Parish Development Modal (PDM), Emyooga, Operation Wealth Creation among others to foster socio-economic transformation.

The prayer was attended by the Kibale District  Security team , Technical Staff headed by the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) , a Political leaders headed by the LCV,  Cultural Leaders, religious leaders and Well wishers.

President Yoweri Museveni went into self-isolation at Nakasero State Lodge after he tested positive for the Corona Virus on Wednesday last week.

In an update released on Tuesday evening, Museveni thanked Ugandans for praying for him as he battles the  illness. "My social-media team brought me the messages that are overwhelmingly supportive. Thanks so much fellow Ugandans. I thank those who took the trouble to sign the boards at the Gate of Nakasero," The President remarked .
